Do you want to help the environment? If you have a few hours, a few days or perhaps a few weeks to spare, there are many things that you can do to help take care of Metro Vancouver Regional Parks. Visit Metro Vancouver Regional Park’s volunteer page to find out all the ways you can roll up your sleeves and get involved today. Keep an eye on our social media and check back here for current volunteer opportunities directly with the Foundation’s team.

We attribute our success to volunteers in the many forms they come. They shape the places and spaces where they live, work, and play. Their value goes long beyond the many hours they put into nurturing nature; they leave a legacy within their communities that is felt forever.

Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Ecological Restoration Team

The easiest way to get involved is to join the Metro Vancouver Ecological Restoration Team Meetup group. There, you’ll find the latest stewardship volunteer opportunities at all regional parks.

If you’d like to volunteer your group, school or company for stewardship activities in a regional park, email volunteer.info@metrovancouver.org or call 604-451-6606.

Park Associations

Another way to get involved is through a park association – a non-profit group that works with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks staff on projects and activities ranging from habitat restoration to nature education to special events.
