Your generosity funds healthy parks and communities in some of the most beautiful, sought after regional parks in the world. Thriving parks depend on local community support and engagement. Since 2000, the Foundation has acquired land, built endowments and invested over $3 million into projects and programs in regional parks. We’ve built bat condos and restored ecologically sensitive wetlands; We’ve funded wheelchair-accessible boardwalks and funded pollinator gardens; We’ve helped bees, trees, whales, snails, frogs, bogs, lakes and snakes. All of our good news is because of donors like YOU.

Your donations have funded:

12,000+

field trip participants (ranging everywhere from new immigrants, to senior centres to kindergarten classes) were welcomed to the regional parks via the Bus Grant Program this year. Many for the first time!

16,500

native trees and plants have been planted since 2021 through the Foundation and Creative BC’s REEL Earth Day Challenge. In addition, 18,780 kg of invasive species have been removed, restoring and protecting 12.49 hectares of land.

500+

new CTS Youth Society participants experience a summer of laughter, friendship, and outdoor education each year—an opportunity they wouldn’t otherwise have—all completely free of charge.
